DAY 1: HANOI – TAIPEI (DINNER)

Morning:
Coach and tour guide pick up the group at the meeting point in Hanoi and transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for the Vietjet flight to Taipei – one of Taiwan’s largest and most bustling cities.

Evening:
Upon arrival at the airport, local tour guide welcomes the group and transfers to a local restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, transfer to the hotel for check-in and rest.

Guests are then free to explore Ximending – the most vibrant pedestrian area in western Taipei, famous as “Taiwan’s Harajuku”.

Overnight at hotel in Taipei.

DAY 2: TAIPEI – SHIFEN OLD STREET – YANGMINGSHAN NATIONAL PARK

(BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel. Then visit:

• Yangmingshan National Park – one of Taiwan’s 8 major national parks, characterized by volcanic terrain, gentle valleys, and rich flora and fauna. Each season paints a different picture: cherry blossoms in spring, lilies and azaleas in summer, silver grass and maple leaves in autumn… A perfect harmony of mountains, fresh air, and seasonal colors.
• Cosmetics shop (shopping stop).

Noon:
Return to Taipei for lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to visit:

• Shifen Old Street – famous for sky lanterns, red lanterns, traditional snack stalls and tea houses. Guests can write wishes on sky lanterns and release them into the sky (01 lantern per 04 guests included). After that, enjoy local tea and snacks and take in the peaceful mountain scenery and slow-paced lifestyle.
• Feng Shui & Pixiu Center – learn about Chinese feng shui culture and admire special Pixiu (Pi Yao) designs, believed to be powerful symbols of wealth and protection.

Evening:
Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to explore Taipei by night.
Overnight in Taipei.

DAY 3: TAIPEI – TAICHUNG – SUN MOON LAKE

(BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and visit:

• Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall – built to commemorate Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, one of the key Allied leaders in WWII. The architecture combines the style of Beijing’s Temple of Heaven with a pyramidal form, grand and solemn.
• National Palace Museum (exterior check-in) – home to invaluable Chinese cultural and historical artifacts.
• Taipei 101 Tower (ticket to observation deck not included) – iconic landmark and former tallest building in the world. Free time for luxury shopping: fashion, cosmetics, and global brands.

Then depart for Taichung.

Afternoon:
After lunch, visit:

• Sun Moon Lake – Taiwan’s largest natural lake, surrounded by lush greenery and once a favorite retreat of Chiang Kai-shek. Guests enjoy a boat ride on Sun Moon Lake (ticket included).
• Wenwu Temple – a temple complex on the northern shore of Sun Moon Lake, dedicated to Confucius (Wen – Literature) and Lord Guan (Wu – Martial).
• Ganoderma (Lingzhi) shop – learn about harvesting Lingzhi mushrooms in the Alishan mountain area and their health benefits.

Evening:
Dinner at a local restaurant, then transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Taichung.

DAY 4: TAICHUNG – RAINBOW VILLAGE – KAOHSIUNG – LOTUS POND

(BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, then visit:

• Rainbow Village – a once ordinary military dependents’ village turned into a colorful art space by veteran Huang Yong-Fu (“Grandpa Rainbow”). The walls and houses are covered in bright, surreal, and imaginative paintings, now a famous Instagrammable spot.
• Tea shop – introduction to Taiwan’s famous Oolong teas, free tea tasting, and learning about how tea contributes to longevity in Taiwan.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:
Visit:

• Lotus Pond (Lianchi Lake) – famous since the Qing Dynasty as one of the “Eight Sights of Fengshan”. The lotus blossoms and reflections across the lake create a dreamlike scene.

At Lotus Pond, visit:

• Dragon and Tiger Pagodas – twin pagodas with dragon and tiger entrances (enter through the dragon, exit through the tiger), symbolizing good fortune and prosperity.
• Spring and Autumn Pavilions (Chunqiu Pavilions) – Taoist site dedicated to Guan Gong (God of War), with notable statues of Guanyin and Guan Gong, built in the early 1950s.

Then visit:

• Kaohsiung Music Center (Pop Music Center) – a landmark of contemporary music and modern architecture in southern Taiwan, featuring a striking beehive-inspired design and scenic views over Kaohsiung Harbor.

Evening:
Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to explore Liuhe Night Market, one of Kaohsiung’s most famous night markets.
Each guest receives 1 complimentary authentic Taiwanese pearl milk tea.

Overnight in Kaohsiung.

DAY 5: FO GUANG SHAN – MRT STATION – HANOI

(BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and visit:

• Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum – a must-visit Buddhist complex featuring one of the world’s tallest bronze Buddha statues (Fo Guang Big Buddha). Built in 2011, it serves as a major Buddhist center, with halls, permanent exhibitions, and facilities capable of hosting over 2,000 people for ceremonies, performances, and international conferences.
• Formosa Boulevard MRT Station – famous for the “Dome of Light”, the world’s largest glass artwork ceiling composed of 4,500 glass panels. The station has been voted among the most beautiful metro stations in the world.
  Subway ticket is included so guests can experience the MRT.
• Pineapple Cake Baking Class – join a hands-on class to make Taiwan’s iconic pineapple cakes and enjoy them fresh from the oven. Guests may take home their own creations.

Noon:
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer to Kaohsiung Airport for the Vietjet flight back to Hanoi.

Evening:
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport. Coach transfers the group back to the original meeting point.
End of tour. See you again!

IMPORTANT NOTES

• The order of sightseeing may be adjusted while still ensuring all listed attractions and services are provided.
• Taiwan regulations limit drivers to 11 working hours/day. Evening activities (night markets, free exploration) are at guests’ own arrangement and expense for transport.
• If one adult travels with 1 child under 11 years old (no separate bed), the child must be charged as an adult to be allocated a proper bed (2 guests/room, no extra sharing).
• The program is supported by shopping stops (Pineapple cakes, Pixiu, Tea, Lingzhi, Gems, Cosmetics – may vary). Guests who skip shopping stops will be subject to a surcharge of 50 USD/person/stop.

TOUR PRICE EXCLUDES

• Personal expenses: laundry, telephone, additional drinks, etc.
• Taiwan sticker visa fee: 100 USD/person (for those not eligible for e-visa).
• VAT (if VAT invoice is required).
• Single room supplement.
• Excess baggage fees.
• Tips: 25 USD/person/tour (for guides and local drivers).

CHILD POLICY

• Children 11 years and above: charged as adults.
• Children 2 – under 11 years: 90% of adult tour price, sharing bed with parents.
• Children under 2 years: 20% of adult price, no separate bed, parents take full care.

Notes:

• Visa sticker fees for children are the same as for adults.
• If 1 adult travels with 1 child under 11 years and wants a separate bed for the child, the child will be charged as an adult (2 guests/room, no sharing with others).

E-VISA CONDITIONS (ONLINE)

Required: Passport valid at least 6 months from return date.

Vietnamese citizens who hold a valid or expired (within 10 years) visa or residence card of the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Schengen countries or Taiwan (except for former blue-collar workers, or using expired e-visas of Australia/New Zealand) may apply for multiple-entry e-authorization to Taiwan with stays up to 30 days.

Guests must complete online registration and print the approved document for boarding and immigration.
Upon entry, guests MUST present the original valid/old visa used for e-authorization; otherwise, entry may be refused.

If e-visa cannot be issued due to name duplication with “blacklist” records, guests will need to apply for a sticker visa at the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office (cost not included).

GROUP VISA (QUAN HONG)

For guests not eligible for e-visa:

Required:

• Passport valid at least 6 months from return date
• Portrait photo
• Application form
• Supporting documents (employment, finance, assets, etc.)

The travel company will consult, screen, and apply for Group Visa (Quan Hong) for the entire group.

If Group Visa is refused, guests will need to apply for a sticker visa at the Taipei Office (fee not included).

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

• Passports must be valid (no tears, damage, water stains, corrections) and valid for at least 6 months from departure date.
• Guests must submit passport copies and requested documents promptly upon registration for visa processing.
• The company does not accept:
  • Guests currently working or studying in Taiwan joining this group tour.
  • Guests who previously worked in Taiwan illegally or violated Taiwanese laws.
• The program is supported by shopping stops (Specialties, Pixiu, Tea, Lingzhi, Gems, Cosmetics – shopping points may vary). If guests refuse to participate, a surcharge of 50 USD/person/point applies.
• Tour prices apply to Vietnamese passport holders only. Foreign passport holders: surcharge 50 USD/person.
• Guests 70 years and older must sign a health commitment form; recommended to travel with a relative under 60 in good health.
• Travel insurance does not cover guests from 65 years and above (per insurance provider’s policy).
• Pregnant guests must inform the travel consultant at booking; medical approval is strongly recommended. Guests over 5 months pregnant are not accepted for safety reasons.
• Guests under 18 must travel with a parent/guardian. If traveling with relatives or alone, a notarized authorization from parents is required.
• Foreign nationals with a single-entry Vietnamese visa are responsible for arranging their own re-entry visa. The company is not liable if they cannot re-enter Vietnam.
• Any unused services abroad (meals, sightseeing, hotel…) are non-refundable as they are pre-paid under contracted packages.
• Guests leaving the group (not permitted for Quan Hong visa holders) must inform the company in advance and pay a surcharge of 100 USD/person/day (for sticker and advanced visas).
• Former Taiwan workers (returned on time & legally): must apply for sticker visa (surcharge 100 USD/person).
• Flight times may change at the airline’s or airport’s discretion due to technical or weather reasons.

BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS

• Deposit: 50% of tour price per person upon registration (non-refundable if guest cancels after booking).
• Full payment: 100% at least 15 working days before departure.
  After full payment, cancellation is not allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY (BY GUEST)

• After booking and more than 30 days before departure: penalty = 100% of deposit.
• From 7–14 days before departure: penalty = 90% of tour price.
• Within 6 days before departure: penalty = 100% of tour price.

VISA REFUSAL CASES

• If guest is refused Group Visa (Quan Hong): non-refundable fee 2,600,000 VND (including 1,000,000 VND service fee + 1,600,000 VND airline cancellation penalty).
• If guest is refused Sticker Visa: air ticket & visa fees are fully non-refundable.
• If refusal is due to false information, undeclared previous visa refusal, or illegal work history abroad: penalty = 100% of tour price.
• If immigration refuses entry/exit due to personal reasons: penalty = 100% of tour price.
